| Bio: | I have two abiding passions in life:
Books - I have a book journal and host the local bookcrossing group (who are a very swishy set of people). Obviously I bookcross myself and you're welcome to check my bookshelf.
Music - I write a music blog as well. I love music, all suggestions and feedback welcomed.
I'm doing my very own Mission 101 and am also writing strategy articles about it over at 101 Strategy.
MyopicMeringue described me as 'quite eclectic - you have all kinds of different interests, and you read all kinds of different books, and you find all kinds of obscure things. And I think you tend to know what you want, and are very determined in following it. And you like to set your own values - you don't let yourself be influenced by what is the societal 'norm'. You also have a lot of strong opinions; I think whatever you do or think or say, it is very whole-hearted. You don't seem to do things by halves. And I think you seem like you are a very sensual person, from what you write.'
And I think there's quite a lot of truth in that so I'm quoting it here. Dakegra called me 'sparklingly effervescent' but I'm only quoting that because it makes me grin like a tree frog.
I find that smileys are the internet equivalent of me grinning from ear to ear and turning into a windmill when I talk, if you see too many of them just relax and realise it means I am merely trying to convey a very simple, deep rooted delight in life. :) |
